$10,000 Reward Offered for Information Leading to Identification of Subjects in Tulsa Bank Robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announces a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest(s) of the individuals responsible for the September 16, 2011 takeover robbery of Tulsa Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union (TMEFCU), 1120 West 17th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to witnesses and surveillance video, at approximately 11:04 a.m. three men wearing dark clothing, hooded sweatshirts, masks, and gloves entered and robbed TMEFCU. All three robbers brandished firearms and threatened customers and employees during the robbery. After robbing the credit union, the robbers departed TMEFCU in a green Jeep Grand Cherokee.

In announcing this reward, law enforcement noted the violent actions and reckless disregard for public safety these robbers have shown which prompted the FBI to offer the reward. Chief of Police Chuck Jordan added, “The Tulsa Police Department appreciates the commitment from the FBI to catch these armed robbers and we will continue to work closely together to solve this crime.”
