Two Men Charged This Afternoon with Thursday’s Robbery of Norman Bank

OKLAHOMA CITY—Sanford C. Coats, United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma, announced that DAVID ALLEN BROWN, 22, and JOSHUA DAN ROSE, 20, both from Norman, Oklahoma, have been charged in federal court this afternoon with bank robbery following Thursday’s robbery of the Bank of the West, located at 2122 West Main Street, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Both men are in custody and are scheduled to appear in federal court next Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 3:00 p.m.

If convicted, the men each face up to 20 years in federal prison. The public is reminded that the criminal complaint is merely an accusation and that the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Norman Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Arvo Q. Mikkanen.
