Illinois Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the arrest of Abdouramane S. Pare, 37, of Chicago, Illinois, related to a bank robbery in Niles, Illinois.

Based on information provided to the Chicago Division of the FBI, Pare was believed to be in Bethany, Oklahoma. Today at noon, Pare was arrested without incident at an apartment in the 6700 block of NW 38th Street in Bethany, Oklahoma. Pare was arrested by the FBI and Bethany Police Department.

Pare is believed responsible for the May 10, 2010, robbery of U.S. Bank, 8500 W. Dempster Ave., Niles, Illinois. A warrant was issued out of the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, for a violation of Title 18, Section 2113, Federal Bank Robbery.
