Robbery of Bank of Hydro in Eakly

Today at approximately 1:30 p.m., a white male wearing a mask entered the Bank of Hydro, 414 W. Main, Eakly, Oklahoma, and pointed a rifle at bank employees. He gathered money in a cloth bag and exited the bank. No one was injured in today’s robbery.

The robber fled in a 2002 to 2004 model white Chevrolet truck with an OSU sticker in the back window. The truck was a single cab with a long bed. The truck was very muddy. The vehicle traveled east on Main, south one mile, west three miles, and north three miles, and was last seen in that area northwest of Eakly.

The robber was described as a white male, 6’0”, thin, in his 20’s, wearing a mask, coveralls, and tennis shoes.

The investigation is being conducted by the FBI, Caddo County Sheriff’s Office, and the Eakly Police Department.

A reward of up to $2000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of individual(s) responsible for robbing a member bank.
