Robbery of Woods Credit Union

Below is a surveillance photograph taken from today’s robbery of Woods Credit Union, 121 SW 89th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

For information, today at approximately 3:00 p.m., an unidentified white male entered Woods Credit Union, provided a demand note, displayed a black revolver, and provided a large see-through blue plastic bag. He gathered the money and was last seen running westbound from the credit union. He is believed to have ran northwest from the bank. No one was injured.

The robber was described as a white male, 6’0” tall, 210 lbs., in his mid to late 40’s, wearing a black cloth over his face, a straw hat with a chin strap, dark sunglasses, blue jeans and tennis shoes. He had acne scars and dishwater blonde hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24 hour number).

A reward of up to $2000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individidual(s) responsible for robbing a member bank.

The investigation is being conducted by the FBI and Oklahoma City Police Department. A canine from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search for the robber.
