Aware.Prepare.Prevent Campaign

The Norfolk FBI and its partners launched a campaign called Aware.Prepare.Prevent (A.P.P.) in 2012.

A.P.P. is designed to educate the community on a variety of topics included in four seminars that focus on:

  1. Cyber security 
  2. National security 
  3. Fraud 
  4. Parental awareness.

The cyber security seminar will include presentations on identity theft, safety and security travels, cyber fraud, and elicitation.

The national security seminar will include presentations on national threat awareness, elicitation, and travel security.

The fraud seminar will include presentations on health care fraud, mortgage fraud, and Internet scams.

The parental awareness seminar will include presentations on the FBI’s Innocent Images Initiative and gangs.
