Aware.Prepare.Prevent Campaign

The Norfolk FBI and its partners launched a campaign called Aware.Prepare.Prevent (APP) in 2012 to educate the community on a variety of topics and local threats.

All APP seminars are free; however, registration is highly recommended.

Investment Fraud Schemes

Description: Attendees will learn about high-return or “risk-free” investments, pyramid schemes, and Ponzi schemes, as well which investment scams are commonly used to target Americans. Today’s fraud schemes are more sophisticated than ever, and the FBI is dedicated to using our skills to track down the culprits and stop scams before they start.
