FBI Identifies Armed Robber in Brooklyn Bank Takeover as Jack Mannino, Seeking Information on His Location and Identity of Accomplice

On December 29, 2011 two males entered the Capitol One Bank located at 7120 New Utrecht in Brooklyn, New York, at 6:00 p.m. They brandished a weapon and took over the bank by force. One of the males proceeded to jump over the bank counter and empty money into a bag. They both fled down 17th Avenue in Brooklyn.

The FBI has identified one of the suspects as Jack Mannino. He is a white male, 43 years old, 5’9’’ tall, and 170 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing black wind pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a dark leather jacket.

The second individual is described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5’6’’ to 5’7’’ tall, and 220 pounds. He is balding and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a green or beige jacket.

A significant reward is available for a tip that breaks the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI immediately at 212-384-1000. As always, tipsters may remain anonymous.
