Dressed in a dark suit in a white button-down dress shirt, the Dapper Bandit entered the Capital One Bank on 277 Broadway in Manhattan yesterday at roughly 12:30 p.m. The suspect entered the branch, displayed a handgun inside of his suit jacket, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The Dapper Bandit is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male, 5’10” to 6’ tall, 190 to 200 lbs, and medium build. He has short, black, curly hair with facial stubble. He was last seen wearing a dark suit and white button-down dress shirt. He was named the Dapper Bandit because he is well dressed during his bank robberies.
