FBI New York November 30, 2010

On Monday November 29, 2010, at approximately 5:07 p.m., an armed robbery happened at Citizens Bank at 2795 Richmond Avenue on Staten Island, New York. The bank is located inside of a Super Stop and Shop grocery store. A significant amount of cash was stolen and the individual brandished a handgun while demanding money from the teller.

The FBI currently is looking for a white male, mid to late 30s, roughly 5’8’’ tall, and 190 pounds. The individual also had a circle beard around his mouth. He was seen wearing a flannel shirt, a dark knit hat, a white button down shirt, faded blue jeans, and dark shoes.

“Anyone with information about this crime should contact the FBI or their local police station immediately at 212-384-5000” said Special Agent Richard Kolko. “We remind citizens that there is a cash reward available for information leading to the arrest of this criminal, and as always tipsters may remain anonymous.”

The robbery is being investigated by the Joint Bank Robbery Task Force, which is comprised of FBI agents and NYPD detectives. Operating since 1979, it is the longest continually operating task force in the New York Office and investigates major violent crime.
