An alleged gang member who is an accomplice to the shootings of two young girls is wanted by the FBI.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for Dionisio Gonzalez – also known as Dio or Morg.
FBI Special Agent Mark Wallschlaeger:
"He is an individual that we want locked up."
Gonzalez was involved in a gun fight with a rival gang in the north side of Chicago in June of 2011. A stray bullet grazed the 2-year-old in the head, while the 7-year-old was shot in the back. Both survived.
Gonzalez was the driver of the getaway vehicle.
"We believe he may be either in the Chicagoland area or the state of Florida."
Gonzalez has many tattoos, including one written across his chest that says “Death Before Dishonor.”
"Before he would ever rat out a fellow gang member, he would suffer death before he dishonored anybody in his gang. That’s what I believe that means. And on his back, he has a tattoo that says "Logan" with a gun next to it. Logan meaning Logan Square – that’s an area of Chicago where he grew up."
Report tips to your local FBI office. To see photos of Gonzalez, visit fbi.gov.
