- Miami: Two Individuals Charged with Material Support Offenses Involving al Qaeda, al Qaeda in Iraq/al Nusrah Front and al Shabaab
Gufran Ahmed Kauser Mohammed, a naturalized U.S. citizen and resident of Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and Mohamed Hussein Said, a Kenyan national and resident of Nairobi and Mombasa, were charged with conspiring and attempting to provide money and recruits to three separately designated foreign terrorist organizations. Federal charges were unsealed against Prince Asiel Ben Israel and C. Gregory Turner for allegedly agreeing to assist Zimbabwean government officials in an effort to lift economic sanctions against them in exchange for $3.4 million. Full Story
