Mollie Halpern: He’s wanted for allegedly sexually abusing two children—the FBI needs your help tracking down John Joseph Hartin.

Kristina Norris: We do believe that he is very dangerous. It is my fear that he could be in an area where he has the opportunity to victimize other children.

Halpern: I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau, and this is Wanted by the FBI. John Hartin befriended two boys, ages 8 and 9, before he allegedly abused them back in 1993. Five indictments were brought against him—but then the former security guard disappeared. Case Agent Kristina Norris says Hartin grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Norris: It’s quite likely that he has a distinct Boston accent that would stand out to someone if he was in another part of the country.

Halpern: Our investigation shows Hartin still has ties to the Boston area but may be living under an alias in Florida or California.

Norris: People in those areas may know who he is. We hope that someone will be able to come forward and tell us where he is and who he says he is.
