Mollie Halpern: The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Edward Allen Costa—who allegedly put pipe bombs in a Palm Springs, California community.

David Smith: These devices could have gone off and could have seriously maimed or killed someone.

Halpern: I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau, and this is Wanted by the FBI. The six bombs were found over the span of five days back in May 2012. Investigators believe Edward Costa is a dangerous man for several reasons. One reason being because Costa placed some of the bombs on the sidewalk—which made them accessible to children, pets, and unsuspecting neighbors. Supervisory Special Agent David Smith...

Smith: Two of the devices were found by a 90-year-old gentlemen who was out on his morning walk.

Halpern: Costa was indicted on pipe bomb charges and escape from custody in September. That was after he left a halfway house to see a state employment counselor, but never returned. Before that, he served a sentence as a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

If you have information about Costa, call your local FBI office.
