FBI Adds Fugitives to Cyber’s Most Wanted List

11/05/2013

Mollie Halpern: The FBI adds five fugitives to its Cyber’s Most Wanted List.

Richard McFeely: We’re going to use all of our authorities on both our criminal missions and within our international security authorities to make every attempt to lock them up.

Halpern: I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau, and this is FBI, This Week. The FBI is offering rewards ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 for information leading to the fugitives’ arrests. The fugitives used the Internet to spy, steal, and defraud individual Americans, companies, and government entities. None of the fugitives is in the U.S., but Executive Assistant Director Richard McFeely says borders don’t stop the FBI.

McFeely: As they transit into countries where we have extradition treaties, we’re going to put handcuffs on them and eventually lock them up.

Halpern: For more information about the fugitives and their crimes, visit www.fbi.gov. Report tips to your local field office or nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
