10/28/2013

Mollie Halpern: FBI Director James Comey emphasizes the importance of partnership between the Bureau and local law enforcement at the annual convention of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, or IACP.

Director James Comey: We are best together. Just as one stick is easily broken and a bundle is unbreakable, we are best in that bundle.

Halpern: In his address to IACP members, Director Comey outlined what local law enforcement should expect from the FBI. Director James Comey…

Director Comey: You should expect from the FBI folks you deal with a robust back and forth, a willingness to listen, a willingness to try to get to the best decision. Halpern: Comey says the FBI needs local law enforcement more than ever because of sequestration.

Halpern: I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau, with FBI, This Week.
