Wanted By the FBI: Bundled-Up Bandit

The FBI is asking for your help to identify a serial bank robber who threatens to use a bomb. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for the so-called Bundled-Up Bandit.

“And that’s because he always bundles himself up wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a cap, and blue gloves,” said Special Agent Adam Quirk.

The unidentified man allegedly hit three banks in Salt Lake City, Utah within the last month.

Quirk says that in each robbery, the bandit “hands a threatening note to the tellers and then he demands cash from them.”

The bandit was calm and collected in each robbery. He appeared aloof enough to indulge in what seems to be his sweet tooth.

“During the second robbery, he helped himself to the candy dish, opened the piece of candy, ate it, and stood there as he waited for the cash,” Quirk said.
