Each April, the nation observes National Crime Victims’ Rights Week—promoting victims’ rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.

Millions of Americans each year are victimized by crime—acts of terrorism, violent crime, financial fraud, child abuse, computer crime, kidnapping, bank robbery...the list is endless. And the FBI is committed to ensuring that victims receive the rights they are entitled to and the assistance they need to cope. Treating victims with respect and providing them with help benefits victims and allows us to build better cases. From our highly trained victim specialists to a wealth of victim resources to Dolce, our therapy dog, we are committed to using all available avenues to help victims when they need us most.
