This afternoon, FBI New Orleans (Alexandria Resident Agency), Louisiana State Police, and the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s office arrested Charles L. Parrish, wanted in Tennessee for statutory rape. Parrish, a white male, 42 years old, was apprehended at the Ranch House Hotel, 5406 Highway 1 in Marksville, Louisiana. Parrish’s last known address was in White County, Tennessee.

The victim, a 15-year-old white female, is believed to have traveled with Parrish to Marksville, Louisiana from Tennessee between September 24 and September 26, 2013. The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office identified the vehicle and the victim at the Ranch House Hotel and began surveillance operations.

The suspect was observed by law enforcement until the pair exited the hotel in the vehicle, with law enforcement continuing surveillance. Parrish was arrested without incident upon returning to the hotel and exiting his vehicle. The victim was recovered.

Parrish is charged in the state of Tennessee with statutory rape by an authority figure and was booked this evening by the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
