Darryl Franklin Arrested in Connection with Two Murders

This afternoon, members of the New Orleans Gang Task Force arrested subject Darryl Franklin without incident at a residence in Marrero, Louisiana. The arrest was made with the assistance of the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, the New Orleans Police Department, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office at 1017 Carmadelle Street.

Franklin, a black male, born April 3, 1984, was wanted on state murder charges for two counts of homicide; the first committed on April 12, 2010, and the second occurring on February 6, 2011. In late August 2013, Franklin was indicted by an Orleans Parish Grand Jury.

Franklin was booked into the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
