Chase Bank Branch at St. Charles and Jackson Avenues Robbed

On September 26, at approximately 12:12 p.m., a robbery occurred at the Chase Bank located at 2200 St. Charles Avenue, corner of Jackson Avenue, New Orleans.

The suspect entered the location and approached a teller window demanding money, while brandishing a silver handgun. The subject left the bank with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.

The suspect is described as a black male, unshaved, and approximately 5’2" tall. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue long-sleeved T-shirt, a baseball cap with a Boston "B" logo, and gloves.

The direction he headed in upon leaving the bank is unknown.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 504-816-3000 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
