New Orleans Man Arrested on Bank Robbery Charges

David W. Welker, Special Agent in Charge of the New Orleans Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announces the arrest of Shadrick Tremel Triche in connection with the June 9, 2008, robbery of the Omni Bank located at 285 W. Esplanade Avenue, Kenner, Louisiana.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. today Triche, 31 years old, of New Orleans was arrested as the result of an investigation by the FBI New Orleans Violent Crime Task Force (NOVCTF) which is comprised of members of the New Orleans Police Department, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kenner Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, Louisiana State Police, the United States Marshal’s Service, and the FBI.
As noted in the Federal Criminal Complaint charging Triche with Bank Robbery the New Orleans CrimeStoppers received an anonymous tip regarding the identity of the Omni Bank robber which was provided to the Kenner Police Department who in turn provided it to the FBI.
The public is reminded that a criminal complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
