Update on the Grape Street Crips Fugitives Charged with Firearm or Drug Offenses

Yesterday afternoon, WILLIAM INZAR, a/k/a “Ill Will,” black male, age 21, wanted on federal gun charges by the FBI (Newark), surrendered at the Irvington Police Department and was brought to the U.S. Marshals. Inzar had an initial appearance at 4 p.m. on Monday before Honorable Madeline Cox-Arleo, U.S. Magistrate Judge. Bail was set at $100,000 with electronic monitoring and Inzar will be released. However, until that monitoring can be set up, Inzar remains in federal custody.

LAQUANA T. HILL, black female, age 29, appeared in court on Thursday (not as a result of arrest or surrender), but was released on her own recognizance that day.

WADE BRUTON and AHMOD BRUTON (described below) remain wanted.

Any further inquiries about proceedings or the status of this case should be directed to the the office of the United States Attorney.

  • Height: 5’10”
  • Weight: 200 lbs
  • Hair: Short black, last seen with long beard
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Scars/Tats: “Snap” tattoo on top of left hand, non-specific tattoos on both arms
  • Last known address: Newark, NJ
  • Charge: Conspiracy to deal in firearms without being licensed dealer in violation of Title 18, USC, S. 922 (a) (1) (A)

***Current information indicates both Brutons may have been attending a funeral in Virginia at the time the other subjects in this matter were arrested last week.
