On June 25, 2014, at approximately 12:06 p.m., a lone black male (hereinafter the robber) entered the Northview Bank, which is located at 8132 County Road 61 in Willow River, Minnesota. The robber approached the teller counter, brandishing a handgun, and demanded cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber departed the bank in an older model, red Chevrolet Blazer bearing Wisconsin license plates.

The robber was described as a black male, who stood approximately 5’7” in height and who had a slender build. The robber wore a white mask, a black “hoodie” sweatshirt, and grey sweatpants. The robber also displayed a dark colored, semi-automatic handgun.
