Robbery of Central Bank Branch in Minneapolis

On May 27, 2014, at approximately 10:45 a.m., an individual robbed the Central Bank branch located at 2120 Hennepin Avenue South in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The robber approached the bank counter and demanded money. The robber brandished a black pistol. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, the robber fled on foot.

The robber was described as a black male; dark complexion; approximately 6’0” tall; 180 pounds; 30 to 40 years old; and as wearing dark, hooded sweatshirt; dark pants; dark Nike tennis shoes; and carrying a white bag.

Of particular note is the robber’s bag. The public is asked for assistance to provide any information about the insignia or emblem on the bag. The FBI is offering a reward to anyone leading to the identification and arrest of the bank robber.
