Minneapolis Man Arrested for Bank Robbery

Donald E. Oswald, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Minneapolis Field Office, today announces the arrest of Reginald Haney, date of birth 11/1/1970, of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Haney was arrested this morning in Minneapolis by deputies of the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and special agents of the FBI pursuant to his possible involvement in a bank robbery which occurred at a U.S. Bank branch located at 2850 Rice Street in Little Canada, Minnesota on 12/20/2011. Haney made his initial appearance this afternoon in federal district court.

This investigation was a joint effort of the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, the Maplewood Police Department, and the FBI.

Reginald Haney is presumed innocent until/unless he is proven guilty in a court of law.
