Robbery of Glenwood State Bank Branch in Alexandria

On December 29, 2011, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at the Glenwood State Bank, located at 2221 South Broadway Street, Alexandria, Minnesota. The robber approached the bank tellers and demanded cash. The robber held a small hand gun. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank.

The robber wore a green zip-up waist-length jacket and a multicolored stocking hat over a dark colored ski mask. He also wore blue jeans and dark-colored gloves. He was as a male, appeared to be white, approximately 6’ tall, and age unknown.
