Robbery of TCF Bank

On Monday, February 8, 2010, at approximately 10:30 a.m., TCF Bank located in Cub Foods at 2850 26th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. The robber entered the bank, approached the victim teller and presented a note demanding cash. The robber verbally instructed the teller to hurry, and threatened to use a handgun if she did not. After the teller complied with the demand, the robber grabbed the cash and fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber is described as a Native American male in his late 30’s, approximately 5’6” tall, with a medium build, dark brown eyes, a large nose, a pockmarked face, and a moustache. He was wearing a dark knit cap, a dark leather jacket, and blue jeans.

Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200, the Minneapolis Police Department, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
