Arden Hills Bank Robbery

FBI Minneapolis October 15, 2009
  • Chief Division Counsel Kyle A. Loven (763) 569-8540

On Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at approximately 7:20 p.m., the TCF Bank located in Cub Foods at 3717 North Lexington Avenue, Arden Hills, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. After roaming the Cub Foods aisles for some time, the robber entered the bank, approached the victim teller, and presenter her with a note that demanded cash and threatened her if she did not comply. When the teller complied, the robber made a verbal demand for additional cash. After the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the robber took the money, placed it into an orange gift bag, retrieved the demand note, and fled on foot out of the south entry of the Cub Foods. The robber was last seen getting into the passenger side of a silver or gray two-door sedan in the Cub parking lot, and departing the area to the south.

The robber is described as a black female in her late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’6” – 5’7” tall and 180 - 200 pounds. She was wearing a black hooded coat, black pants, a black baseball cap, blue mittens, and white sneakers.

Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200, the Ramsay County Sheriff’s Office, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
