Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Coral Gables

The FBI is releasing photographs from a bank robbery that took place May 12, 2014, at approximately 9:40 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 2555 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables, Florida.

A robber entered the bank, implied that he had a dangerous device of some type, and demanded money from a bank employee. Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries. Money was taken, but the amount will not be released at this time.

The FBI believes this same individual was also involved in the May 9, 2014 Chase Bank branch robbery at 1300 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Coral Gables, Florida.
