Robbery of Bank of America Branch ATM in Miramar

The FBI is releasing photographs from a burglary that took place on January 10, 2014, at approximately 1:00 a.m. at the Bank of America branch ATM at 15999 SW 29th Street in Miramar, Florida.

Between approximately 12:58 a.m. and 1:01 a.m., at least two, possibly more, burglary subjects used a stolen forklift to pick up the ATM and place it in the back of a stolen box truck. Money was taken, but the amount will not be released at this time. The bank was not open at the time of the burglary.

The truck used in the burglary was stolen from Hialeah Gardens and later found in Opa Locka along with the damaged ATM still in the truck.

The forklift was stolen from a location near the bank and left nearby.

The FBI and the Miramar Police Department are continuing their investigation.
