FBI Announces Arrest Made in Connection with Robbery of BB&T Bank Branch in Miami

The FBI announces the arrest of Jose Llavore-Diaz, 41, for his alleged involvement in the robbery of the BB&T Bank branch located at 10899 Sunset Drive in Miami, Florida, at approximately 2:45p.m. on March 4, 2014.

The arrest was made without incident this morning, March 5, in Miami-Dade County by the Miami Dade Police Department.

Llavore-Diaz is in federal custody and is facing federal charges. It is anticipated he will have his initial appearance today in federal court in Miami, Florida.

The FBI, Miami-Dade PD, and the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force continue their investigation.

No further information will be released at this time.
