Armored Truck Robbery Near Regions Bank Branch in Miami

The FBI is releasing information about an armored truck robbery that took place on January 9, 2014, at approximately 9:20 a.m. near the Regions Bank branch at  6013 NW 7th Ave. in Miami, Florida.

The robber approached an armored truck guard, displayed two handguns, and took a courier bag containing an undisclosed amount of money. There were no shots fired and no injuries.

The FBI believes the getaway vehicle is a late-90s green four-door Pontiac with tinted windows, possibly a Grand Am or Grand Prix, that was last seen traveling south on NW 6th Court and then east on NW 60th Street away from the robbery location.

Description of the robber: black male, 5’11” to 6’0” in height, wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark pants, and a cloth bandana covering face. He was the passenger in the getaway vehicle described above.
