Two Arrested in Connection with Credit Union Robbery
FBI Still Seeking Third Suspect

The FBI announces two arrests in last Thursday’s (April 11, 2013) robbery of the Jetstream Federal Credit Union branch in Mercy Hospital, Miami, Florida, and requests the public’s assistance in locating Tavarius Rakeem Smith for his alleged involvement in the robbery.

Garriet Demona Hicks, 38, of Miami, Florida, was taken into custody Friday, April, 12, 2013 morning in Miami, and Alfred Walker, 23, of Miami, Florida, was taken into custody Friday evening in Miami for their alleged involvement in the robbery of the Jetstream Federal Credit Union branch in Mercy Hospital, Miami, Florida.

Hicks and Walker are in federal custody and facing pending federal charges. It is anticipated that their initial appearances will be Monday, April 15, 2013, in federal court in Miami, Florida.

The Miami Police Department, the FBI’s South Florida Violent Crime Task Force, and the FBI continue their investigation and request the public’s assistance in locating Tavarius Rakeem Smith (pictured below) for his alleged connection with the robbery.
