FBI Releases Information on Two Miami Bank Robberies

Within a span of one hour this morning, two banks in Miami, Florida were robbed: a Regions Bank and a First Bank of Miami, both in the vicinity of the 200 Block of SE 1st Street, Miami. The FBI believes these robberies were conducted by the same individual.

Regions Bank Robbery

Address: 265 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL

Approximate time of the robbery: 8:30 a.m.

Details: Robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. No injuries, money was taken, but the amount is not being released at this time.

First Bank of Miami Robbery

Address: 235 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL

Approximate time of the robbery: 9:00 a.m.

Details: Robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. No injuries, no information available about whether money was taken.
