FBI Releases Photographs in Lauderhill Bank Robbery Bank Robbery

The FBI is releasing photographs from a bank robbery that took place today, Monday, May 10, 2010, at TD Bank, 7345 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Lauderhill, Florida at around 1:25 p.m. The robber walked into the bank and jumped the teller counter. He implied that he had a handgun and took money from at least two tellers’ money drawers and put the undisclosed sum in a small carry-all bag. He then fled the bank on foot. A Lauderhill Police Department Sergeant confronted the robber, and after he did not comply with the officer’s commands, a fist fight ensued. The robber eventually broke free and fled from the officer.

The bank robber is described as follows:

Race: Black
Sex: Male
Age: Mid 20’s
Height: 5’ 7”
Clothing:
  • Black sweatpants with a wide red stripe on the sides
  • Black shirt with distinctive pink writing and designs on the front and back
  • Sandals or flip flops
