Cincinnati Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Distributing Cocaine and Crack Cocaine

COVINGTON, KY—Maraill Miller, 32, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was sentenced today to 10 years in prison for conspiring to distribute cocaine by United States District Court Judge David L. Bunning.
In June 2010, Miller pleaded guilty to this offense and admitted that he conspired with several other individuals to distribute 50-150 grams of crack cocaine and between 500 grams and two kilograms of powder cocaine.
Under federal law, Miller must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence, and, upon release, will be under the supervision of the United States Probation Office for five years.
Kerry B. Harvey, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and Elizabeth A. Fries, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, jointly made the announcement today after the sentencing.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Covington Police Department. The United States was represented by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony J. Bracke.
