  • Public Affairs Specialist Laura Eimiller (310) 996-3343

The FBI and law enforcement officers in multiple cities where the below-listed bank robberies have occurred are seeking information from the public that leads to the identity of unidentified male bank robbers wanted for two separate series of bank robberies. The suspects were given monikers of “Desperate Bandit” and “Don’t Even Bandit” in order to link the robberies for law enforcement responding to banks in multiple counties since August. Bandit names are generated based on witness descriptions of the appearance or behavior of a suspect during the initial robberies to which they are linked.

Don’t Even Bandit

During the robberies linked to the “Don’t Even Bandit,” the suspect uses written and verbal demands for cash. Witnesses have described the suspect as a black male, between 5’06”-5’08” in height, 150-170 lbs., and between 35-40 years old. During one of the robberies, the suspect was seen getting into a black vehicle, described as a Nissan Versa.

During the robberies linked to the Desperate Bandit, the suspect enters the bank and has asked to cash a company check. The suspect also makes verbal demands for cash and presents a typed demand note that threatens a gun. The suspect has been seen driving a late model, four-door, white Toyota Corolla with a factory spoiler, and he is further described as a white male with a chubby build, between 40-50 years of age, between 5’9” and 6’0” tall, approximately 200 lbs., with a combination of brown and gray hair. The suspect is seen during the robberies carrying a dark merchant bag and has also used a disguise during some of the robberies, including a wig, a mustache, and eyeglasses.
