Suspect Linked to “All Ears” Bank Robberies Wanted

A unidentified man wanted in connection with three bank robberies this month is being sought by the FBI and police, announced Steven Martinez, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI in Los Angeles. The suspect is known to law enforcement as the “All Ears Bandit” based on witness accounts describing him has having large ears.

The All Ears Bandit is further described as a Hispanic male who threatens victims with a firearm during the robberies, between 25-33 years old, and between 150 and 160 lbs. The All Ears Bandit is believed to be responsible for robbing the following three banks:

3/19/2011 Bank of America 1572 W. Sunset Blvd Echo Park
3/14/2011 Bank of America 8764 Firestone Blvd Carson
3/12/2011 Bank of America 7105 Eastern Ave Bell Gardens
