FBI Los Angeles May 12, 2009
  • Public Affairs Specialist Laura Eimiller (310) 996-3343

WHAT: Local and federal emergency response agencies will conduct a training exercise focused on the potential for a terrorist attack on an area school. The training is meant to provide participants with the opportunity to train in a school takeover scenario in order to enhance unique skills associated with such a response.

WHEN: Saturday, May 16, 2009. Event begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. with welcome, introductions and formal statements by various agency leaders, followed by an opportunity at 9:15 a.m. for officials to address the press and answer questions.
