Donald E. Packham – Executive Assistant Director, Human Resources Branch
On October 11, 2005, Director Mueller announced the appointment of Donald Everett Packham as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Administrative Services Division.
Mr. Packham brings to the FBI a wealth of human resources and leadership experience. In a twenty-one year career with BP (formerly British Petroleum), Mr. Packham served in a number of senior human resources roles. In his last position with BP, Mr. Packham was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources Americas, where he oversaw human resources for 50,000 employees spread across more than 50 business units in North and South America. In previous assignments with BP, Mr. Packham was the top human resources official responsible for implementing BP’s acquisition of ARCO, and was the head of human resources for BP’s global exploration and production sector.
Mr. Packham has also been a leader in the broader human resources community. He served on the Steering Committee of Boston University’s Human Resources Policy Institute and has contributed to numerous human resources studies, publications, and conferences.
Mr.
Packham has a BBA in Management from Texas A&M University
and MBA from Corpus Christi State University. He is married
to Valerie Packham, and has two children.
In July
2006, Mr. Packham was designated EAD - Human Resources Branch.
