“A wanted fugitive from Nevada believed to be responsible for as many as 10 bank robberies in Las Vegas and Reno was arrested in Greenville, Mississippi, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015,” stated Donald Alway, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI in Mississippi.

According to SAC Alway, a warrant for the arrest of Robert Kincade, age 40, was issued by the United States District Court for the District of Nevada on March 11, 2015. As listed in the warrant, Kincade faces charges of armed bank robbery; brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence; and aiding and abetting.

On March 24, FBI Las Vegas received information that Kincade had been in the Greenville, Mississippi area and, at approximately 6:00 p.m., requested assistance from the FBI in Mississippi. Greenville Police Chief Freddie Cannon was contacted and immediately dispatched officers of Greenville’s Special Operations team. With assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Kincade was located and arrested, without incident, at approximately 8:00 p.m. at a business on Highway 1 in Greenville, Mississippi. SAC Alway stated, “The exceptional response of Chief Cannon and the Greenville Police Department resulted in the immediate arrest of this wanted person, who was considered to be armed and dangerous. Due to the partnership and outstanding efforts of the FBI, the Greenville Police Department, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, this alleged serial bank robber is safely behind bars.” Kincade is expected to appear in federal court in Greenville prior to making his return to Nevada.
