FBI Announces Arrest of the Individual Suspected of Robbing a Y-12 Federal Credit Union

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chief David Rausch of the Knoxville Police Department (KPD) announce the arrest of the man suspected of robbing a Y-12 Federal Credit Union yesterday, January 23, 2015.

The Knoxville Police Department’s Organized Crime and Patrol Units, together with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF), have arrested Bryan Samples, 43, of Kingston, Tennessee, in connection with this robbery.

This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI SSTF, composed of the FBI, KPD, and Knox County Sheriff’s Office, together with the KPD.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
