Turkey Creek Bank Robber in Custody

On December 6, 2013, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Daniel Kerley, from Crossville, Tennessee, was arrested for the December 2, 2013 robbery of the BB&T on Parkside Drive. Kerley, age 20, was arrested on Highway 27 in Crossville, Tennessee, without incident through the joint efforts of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF), composed of the FBI, Knoxville Police Department (KPD), Knox County Sheriff's Office (KCSO), and the KPD Major Crimes Unit, as well as the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Kerley appeared in federal court on Friday, December 6, 2013, and remains in custody.

This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF).

All defendants are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
