At approximately 8:30 last night, Jonathan Allen, age 24, of Virginia, and Terence Jaunte Crawley, age 27, of Maryland, were arrested without incident on weapons charges by the Virginia State Police as a result of a routine traffic stop. Further investigation determined suspects’ involvement in yesterday's robbery of the Citizens Tri County Bank in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee.

The arrests are the result of a multi-agency effort, which included the South Pittsburgh, Tennessee Police Department; the Marion County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office; the Tennessee Highway Patrol; the Dekalb County, Alabama Sheriff’s Office; the Pulaski County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office; the Wytheville, Virginia Police Department; the Wythe County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office; and the Virginia State Police.

The investigation is ongoing and additional federal and state charges are pending. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
