Seeking Information on Robbery of Citizens Tri County Bank Branch in South Pittsburg

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Chattanooga Resident Agency; Chief DaleWinters of the South Pittsburg Police Department (SPPD); and Sheriff Ronnie “Bo” Burnett of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects who robbed a South Pittsburg bank today.
At approximately 8:42 a.m., two suspects entered the Citizens Tri County Bank located at 402 N. Cedar Street Drive in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, displayed weapons, and demanded money. Witnesses described the suspects as follows:
- Suspect #1 – a light-skinned, black male, approximately 6’ to 6’ 2” tall, between 30 and 35 years old, with a heavy build. Suspect was wearing full camouflage clothing including a camouflage hat.
- Suspect #2 – a black male, approximately 5’ 7” to 5’ 9” tall, between 25 and 30 years old, with a stocky build. Suspect was wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie, and a camouflage jacket.
After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the suspects left the scene in a green, four-door, Dodge Stratus. A reward is being offered for any information which leads to the arrest of these individuals. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chattanooga Office of the FBI at 423-265-3601. This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF), SPPD, and the MCSO.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
