FBI Announces Arrest of Christy Davis

At approximately 12:4 p.m. today, Linda Christina Davis Goin, also known as Christy Davis, of Morristown was arrested by the FBI, with assistance from the Morristown and Jefferson City Police Departments. The arrest was pursuant to a Federal indictment and arrest warrant issued in the Eastern District of Tennessee. The warrant was obtained today by the Knoxville Division of the FBI. Davis is charged with making false statements and being an accessory after the fact in connection with the Chad Schaffner serial bank robbery investigation. The arrest occurred without incident in Morristown, Tennessee.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
