FBI, KPD, and KCSO, as Part of the Safe Streets Task Force, Along with the KCSO Major Crimes Unit, Announce the Arrest of Jonathan “John” Katz

At approximately 6:00 p.m. yesterday, Jonathan Katz, 35, of Knoxville, was arrested by members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, KPD, and the KCSO Major Crimes Unit. The arrest was pursuant to a Federal complaint and arrest warrant issued in the Eastern District of Tennessee. The warrant was obtained yesterday by the Knoxville Division of the FBI. Katz is charged with one count of bank robbery for the 07/13/2009, robbery of TVA Employees Credit Union at 4520 Greenway Drive in Knoxville. The arrest occurred without incident in the 100 block of Dameron Avenue in Knoxville, Tennessee. 

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
