Mississippi Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Exploitation of Children

JACKSON—Gary Tubby, 53, a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, pled guilty before U.S. District Judge Carleton W. Reeves today to sexual exploitation of children, announced U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis and FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel McMullen. The offense occurred on the Tribal lands of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Tubby will be sentenced on August 5, 2014, and faces a minimum prison sentence of 15 years, a maximum prison sentence of 30 years, and a maximum fine of $250,000.00

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Lemon.
