NATCHEZ, MS—Bryan Blake Neihaus, 21, of Vicksburg, pled guilty on June 8, 2010, before U.S. District Judge David C. Bramlette to four counts of production of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Donald R. Burkhalter announced.

Neihaus was arrested on January 29, 2010, pursuant to a federal arrest warrant. During the course of an FBI investigation, Neihaus had been observed trading child pornographic images and videos via the Internet. Subsequent examination of his laptop computer and external storage devices revealed numerous images and videos of child pornography. Two of the videos depicted Neihaus engaged in sexual acts with a known minor. A federal grand jury returned an indictment against Neihaus on March 2, 2010.

Neihaus will be sentenced on August 17, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. in Natchez, and faces a maximum penalty of 140 years in prison and $1.5 million in fines.
