FORT WAYNE, IN—The United States Attorney’s Office announced the following activity:

Pleas

John Edward Scott, 60, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Allen County Drug Task Force, and the Allen County Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony Geller.

Edgar White, 35, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of use of a communication facility to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Wayne Safe Streets Task Force. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Lovita Morris King and Tina Nommay.

Ormey Douglas, 37, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of use of a communication facility to conspire to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Wayne Safe Streets Task Force. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina Nommay.

Ronald Borja, 25, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to the felony offense of conspiracy to commit fraud with identification documents. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Indiana State Police, a member of the Identity Theft Task Force, assisted by U.S. Immigration and Hammond South Bend Fort Wayne Custom Office of Homeland Security Investigations, the Social Security Administration, the Postal Inspection Service, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and the Shipshewanna Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lovita Morris King.

The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

Disposition

Charles A. Boyce, 41, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was sentenced by Judge Theresa Springmann to 60 months’ imprisonment and four years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine. This case was the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony Geller.
